I work for a website called FreelanceGIS.com. They have a very broad range of work opportunities. I work with them on a freelance basis, and I usually work on some of their website projects, but I also work in the field of consulting, sales, and marketing.
They have a new feature on their website today called “GIS Jobs”, which is a listing of freelance gis jobs you can take on. The jobs are posted by different people and are listed in the “categories” section. The categories include “Hire,” “Contribute,” “Contribute Ideas,” “Contribute Ideas of Others,” “Contribute to Projects,” and “Contribute to Projects of Others.
I personally like the new features but wish they would have allowed more categories. One of the industries that has been very popular is health care. This search resulted in 5,000 results. I was looking for the health care, medical, or pharmacy positions.
