This is one of the things I love about making a great dish. Everything else can be very confusing, so I simply put everything I thought I had in mind. I have a rule to follow when it comes to creating my own dish: Use your imagination.
This is a dish that I make with my mom’s favorite ingredients. It’s based on a recipe from a new cookbook I just bought called The Cooking Gene.
With all of the food I cook there is really no need to try to replicate it or to follow recipes or to spend hours researching recipes and ingredients, but I try to use my imagination to come up with a couple of different ways to create something I enjoy eating. My husband and I have a few dishes that we create together on a regular basis and we have different ways of doing the cooking and my husband is the one who really enjoys making and eating his recipes.
We have a couple of “recipes” that we like to do together. One is a simple “chow mein” dish and the other is a “noodles and rice” dish. We also like to make simple variations of things we like that we never have to buy individually when we do the same dishes and make them even more enjoyable to our selves. One of our favorite dishes we make is “chicken and dumplings.
I can’t even remember the last time I ate dumplings. You might be asking yourself why I would even bother to tell you. But the answer is because I like dumplings and I like to share my cooking with other people.
One of the ways to share your cooking is to make it better so that it is worth buying. That’s what we are doing at luvcharming store. With chow mein being a mainstay of my cooking here in Korea, I was going to try and make it at home, but I ended up being a little bit too lazy.
The chow mein, or dumplings, are made from glutinous rice, usually red bean or white bean, which has been soaked in water and stir-fried. They are served with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce, sugar, fresh garlic, sesame oil, and fresh bean sprouts. So, the dumplings look a little like little rice cakes, but they are really dumplings.
I was looking forward to trying these chow mein, but I ended up running out of time and having to make the dumplings in such a hurry that I ended up doing them all wrong. If you’re looking for a quick, healthy meal, then this is the one place to go. I’ve also been told that the dipping sauce is very addictive and that the best way to eat it is with a spoon.
I don’t usually buy a bunch of stuff when I go to the grocery store, but I’m so excited about these dumplings that I decided the last thing I needed was something to eat while I’m trying to figure out how to make them. I was disappointed that I didn’t get any dumplings, but I can’t really complain because I’m pretty sure the sauce is the best thing in the world.
